Roadmap: Dune multiplayer mode: Spice Wars expected this summer

We remember, Dune Spice Wars kicked off his early access just a month ago. By definition, early access supposes that the game will be regularly updated and completed at least until this commercial launch.

The studio Shiro Games has just deployed a first "community update" (whose patch note is available on Steam), which mainly incorporates adjustments inspired by players' comments-including rebalancing between factions, Improvements in the interface, etc.

The studio mainly delivers its roadmap for the coming months, sketching some of the additions to come to the game. In the forefront of these new features, Shiro Games mentions the addition of several multiplayer options (mentioned before the launch of early access), which will therefore allow you to play with other players: a maximum of four strategists will be able to compete in competitive games each for themselves or in a cooperative game mode. At the same time, the studio also promises the addition of a new faction, not yet specified, but which will therefore be added to the Atreids, Harkonnens, Smugglers and Fremens already available. Like the previous ones, this faction will have its own strengths and weaknesses, with specific units that will contribute to renewing the gaming experience on the battlefields. The two updates will be deployed this summer. In the longer term, the studio also intends to add new units for factions already available, as well as new heroes that help guide the strategies and priorities of each faction.

Dune: Spice Wars Early Access Review

While waiting to discover them on piece, we will remember that these updates are therefore intended to both enrich and renew the game game mechanics: Spice Wars until its commercial launch, but also to echo the expectations of the first Players who exchange with the development team.
