The creators of the series Cobra Kai film Duke Nukem

The Hollywood Reporter announced a new attempt to adapt the Duke Nukem series from 3D Realms (then Apogee Software) for large screens.

‘Duke Paramount was unable to release the film with John Sina, so now the Legandary, standing behind the dune and universe of monsters, bought the rights from Gearbox. The project will be headed by Josh Hild, John Harvitz and Hayden Schlossberg-the authors of the popular Cobra Kai series from Netflix. They will definitely perform as producers, but they can also take a director's chair.

The screenwriter for film adaptation is by no means the most tolerant shooters from the 90s have not yet been found.
