Why did Daemon stole the egg in House of the Dragon?
In season 1, episode 2 of House of the Dragon, we are already seeing great plays towards the control of the iron thr1. There is Lord Corly Velaryon by pressing power directly and diplomaticly. And then Daemon is with his clandestine tactics. But why did Daemon stole the egg in House of the Dragon? What are his reasons? This is why.

Why did Daemon stole the egg in House of the Dragon?
** To summarize: to get his brother's attention. In the first episode of House of the Dragon, Viserys sent Daemon away, back to Runestone with his wife, but not before Daemon was disinherited. Visery's daughter would now be the heiress of the iron throne.
In addition to sliding a dragon egg, Daemon also:
- He brought together Gold Cloaks as his own personal army.
- Rocadragón seized
- Announced that he would marry Mysaria
To begin with, having your own personal army parked in Dragonstone is not a good idea; Dragonstone is a seat that inherits the heir, which is no longer. Second, Daemon is already married to Lady Rhea Royce. Before Daemon seized Dragostone, he was supposed to return with Lady Rhea Royce in Runestone.
Even so, it is a movement of power. If King Viserys I Targaryen had bit the hook, what he almost did, it is not known what could have happened. After all, Viserys would not have a dragon at his disposal, and we already know that Daemon believes that Viserys is a weak king.
What egg robbed Daemon?
What makes Daemon's robbery particularly atrocious is that The dragon egg would be given to the late son of King Viserys, Prince Baelon, the newborn baby who appeared in episode 1. according to the Targaryen tradition, a dragon egg is placed in the cradle of the true Targaryen. Daemon had intentions to give it to his own heir to him one day.
